This stage focused on producing the first base design sketches directly over the site analysis plan to begin exploring spatial relationships, circulation routes, planting zones, and intervention opportunities across the site. Sketching over the analytical framework allowed early ideas to respond closely to existing conditions, topography, and surrounding urban connections.

The process involved testing different configurations of pathways, gathering spaces, habitat areas, water interventions, and structural elements through quick iterative annotations and overlays. Working directly onto the site analysis helped translate research and analytical observations into early conceptual design proposals while developing a clearer understanding of scale, movement, and spatial organisation within the masterplan.
