This stage of the project focused on extracting and developing site contour information using GIS data and digital modelling workflows. Contour lines were generated from topographical datasets and transferred into Rhino and Grasshopper to begin constructing a more accurate understanding of the site’s terrain and elevation changes.
The process involved experimenting with parametric workflows, terrain generation, and digital mapping techniques to translate GIS information into workable 3D site models. Developing these contour studies helped establish the foundation for later spatial, hydrological, and landscape design investigations across the site.
