Week 17 – Planting Areas & Sensory Landscape Development

This tutorial focused on developing the planting areas across the site and exploring how planting can create different sensory and spatial experiences within the landscape. The session investigated the organisation of texture and scent planting zones while also considering seating integration, movement, and user interaction.

The sketches explored how planting areas can become immersive spaces that encourage people to stop, gather, and engage with the landscape.
